Rent payment
fee calculator.
A small fee, every month, across every unit. See how two payment methods compare. These editable defaults are examples, not provider prices.
Method B costs $480.00 less per year in this example.
Enter valid nonnegative amounts and whole payment and unit counts.
The calculation, without the mystery.
Method A = (rent × percentage ÷ 100 + flat fee A) × payments × units
Method B = flat fee B × payments × units
Each per-payment fee is rounded to cents before calculating the annual total. The result is a comparison of processing costs, not a promised saving to one particular payer. Tenant savings and landlord savings depend on who covers each fee.
Subscriptions, caps, minimums, taxes, refunds, returns, financing costs, and optional services are not included. Use the provider’s actual terms for a purchasing decision.
