Tell the hauler exactly what you need removed and confirm the permitted collection location, timing and price before setting items out.

Avoid a vague “junk removal” request

List each item, approximate size and any access constraint. Identify electronics, chemicals or other materials needing special handling. Confirm you are authorized to dispose of the property; belongings left by residents may require a separate legal process.

A sofa, old monitor and paint cans may not belong on one ordinary pickup. Get written acceptance of the actual inventory and keep the completion record. Do not promise disposal before ownership and local requirements are resolved.
